Registration Closed 🌂GitHub Field Day India brings together leaders from different regional communities to hang out, become friends, learn from each other's mistakes and successes, and solve shared problems.
Sangeeta has been involved with community building since 2017 and currently manages the global user group programme at Dataiku. Her favorite part of being a Community Professional is creating spaces where members can gain knowledge, feel belonged and can together take action towards a purpose that drives meaningful impact in the world. Sangeeta was among the first 100 Meta Certified Community Managers globally and also authored the State of Indian Community Management 2021 report, the first documentation that quantifies the impact of online communities and work of community builders in India. Vivek is a technophile and an Open Source contributor with around 16 years of experience in the Software Industry and works at Microsoft as Senior Cloud Advocate in Cloud + AI Engineering Team. In his previous role, he has mentored startups/developers, speaker at conferences/meetups for DigitalOcean as Senior Developer Advocate, Co-Founder / Chief-Architect of NoodleNext Technology. He was also heading DevOps and QA at BlackBuck and was a DevOps Solution Architect at HCL (Australia) in client engagement. Vivek started his career as a Software Developer with IBM Rational (India Software Labs). You can find him on twitter as @vivek_sridhar.

It is a participant-oriented meeting where the attendees choose a topic or an agenda and discuss the particular agenda. There is an exchange of ideas and opinions. At the Field Day, most of the events will be talks and discussions conducted by the attendees.
We welcome student leaders and members of tech communities across India. Most of the attendees will be undergrad students.

Knowing about GitHub is always a great thing. However, this event is not a technical conference. It's about communities, students and networking. We don't ask for your CV :)
